Troubleshooting
Most issues fall into one of three categories: connection, agent response, or session behavior. Here's how to resolve each.
Connection issues
Playground shows agent as offline
The CLI command must be running before you click "Start Audit". Check your terminal — you should see a confirmation that the bridge is active.
Connection times out after 3 minutes
The "Verify connection" listener times out after 3 minutes. If your agent wasn't ready in time, just click the button again after the CLI is confirmed running.
Agent response errors
Agent times out (45 seconds)
If your agent takes longer than 45 seconds to respond, the round is marked as a timeout. Check that your agent's endpoint is responding and that the port matches what the CLI is configured to forward to.
404 or 500 errors from agent
Your agent server may not be listening on the expected port. Test it manually:

Scores seem lower than expected
Scores reflect real behavioral gaps — not effort or intent. Review the evaluation signals in the report to see exactly which rules were triggered. A yellow result with clear signals is more useful than a green result without them.
Not enough turns remaining
Go to the Playground dashboard and click Recharge. During the beta, refills are free and instant.
